This is starting to sound like a normal mobile game + its too complicated for my taste, first its in game currency, then its micro-transactions, I do not like the way robtop is going with this game... I just want him to stop with all of this rubrub wanting more money nonsense and publish 2.1... Doesn't he have enough money as it is? This game is in the top 10 in the app store...

From the GD Wiki: Robtop was also talking about the new future currency and shop. He said that a user level will reward a certain amount of the currency based on how many stars it has. For example, 5 stars give 100 and demons give 500. The percentage received on that level decides how much the player gets. 10% of the level gives 10% of the currency and so forth. Upon level completion, the player is rewarded 50% more of the currency. I don't remember probably but I think that was already stated in this thread

It's kinda sad that we'd have to redo all the easy demons we've already completed if we want the reward :/

Sorry if I didn't explain myself well enough in the post, what I am trying to say, is that I am going to be very frustrated if this turns into some retarded "watch an ad to get free in-game money" with the currency system, and the free app I wouldn't be surprised if robtop goes that direction, and that is just one step below paying for currency, which I don't feel like robtop will be adding anytime soon, but if he does I am going to be very dissapointed. I am also going to be pretty annoyed if anything that used to be free costs currency...

Plus this is a rage game, do we really need something to hold our hand and be like "good boy getting to 10% on that level you may not have beaten it, but you get 10 currency for the effort )))))" I don't need a consolation prize if I didn't beat the level, sry guys but I think its pretty unnecessary... Though there could be a few positives to it, maybe robtop could find a way to put in new icons that you download from the server, however I am not 100% sure that would even work being that icons are currently stored in a single image file (GJGameSheets.png). ;3; (also enough with this cancerous emoji stuff, how do I turn it off?)

it is not possible to get 500 from a demon, because that would mean you completed the level, and then you get 750

i like the idea of getting the curency depending on the percentage of the level, but as someone already said, it will be easy to farm in levels with long intros, so i thought, why not start giving the currency after 50% of the level, it will lower the abbility to farm but keeps the system.

Easy level farming would be a easy way to gain lots of currency, along with 98% secret ways.

In all seriousness, i feel like this currency system could be easily farmed. Its a good idea but what about intro demons like AirSwipes or stuff like reanimation with lots of cutscenes?

I'm thinking the player should manually create these currency point givers in the editor. When the level is published, these points are verified when the level gets a star rating. And depending on the star rating, difficulty of the level, and the number of currency points, the value of each currency point giver is calculated.
