GDForum Rules (Be very careful to follow these!) REPORT OFFENSES THROUGH THE SETTINGS BUTTON AT THE CORNER OF A POST! 1. Use Common Sense! If you know for sure something is not allowed, don't do it in the first place. 2. Keep all drama OFF THE FORUMS! This means no hate/unnecessary gossip toward other people. If drama begins, do not reply to the offender, simply report them! 3. This is a family-friendly forum! That means no posting of porn/explicit images that may be inappropriate or bypassing the swear filters. 4. Do not spam! This means: no useless/off topic posts, no posting 2 or more times in a row, no bumping threads, no spamming spoilers, etc. 5. Do not be mean to others! Harassment/racism/sexism and flaming/insulting are not allowed. Trolling is not allowed either. BE NICE! 6. Do not necropost (post in threads older than a month)! These threads have often become irrelevant and do not need to resurface. 7. Do your best to create threads in the proper section, and not to make duplicate threads about topics that have been discussed recently. 8. Make sure not to post about sensitive topics, including racist acts of violence, recent shootings, hate crimes, terrorism, and anything else that might offend or scare people. This forum is for all ages. 9. Cancerous post, comments, and threads are WARNABLE!!! Please choose the non cancerous route to the GDForum and leave cancer to Discord and Skype conversations! Make sure you read the rules before you post!

I think this is a bad idea since it can be abused.

I would prefer if you could pick the level. Also, what if it picks SWITCHBLADE BY 6359!!!!! In this case, both players lose why?

Hopefully no-one's mentioned this yet, but what about a National & Global Ladder? You can select your country when editing your GD Profile, which would then appear like a little icon under your username on the profile (just a quick idea to identify what country you're from). You will only be able to change country one more time after that. Also, maybe the country is selected from your Steam (for confirmation in what country you're from), the App Store or sent by email. This country leaderboard will function similar to the Global Leaderboard, except the Top 10 from that country will have a different coloured username (eg. in Spanish colours if you were from Spain, or maybe a custom colour with bevel), and there could be a monthly National tournament for the Top 50 in that particular country, and have prizes for placing in the Top 5, of which could win Stars, User Coins or maybe even Secret Coins (same could go for the Global Top 100). This would be placed in the Scores category on the second menu in the game. This section for Global & National would be named 'Challengers'. Upon selecting this, you will then be brought to a mini menu screen with 'Global' & 'National'. When you tap/click 'National', will have two leaderboard: You (positioned in your country on the bottom on a little pop up, with the Top 100 above you, which can be scrolled all the way to the 100th position and be scrolled all the way up to the 1st position). If you were in the Top 100 in your country, the card on bottom will be replaced with your 'rival', who is the person beneath you in the Leaderboard. Then, with the other leaderboard, you can choose any country and see the results from the nation. Once finished looking at the National Leaderboards, you can also bop the 'Global' selection, which will bring you to a singular board, and works exactly like the other Leaderboard; Coloured name, pop up on the bottom with either you or your rival of which is beneath you, and everything else, except one thing. You will have an icon directly to the left of your username, so it is clear which country you're from. I hope someone can pick up on this idea, and eventually maybe even manage this to be implemented into Geometry Dash

Not a good idea, except if you want to create more useless division in the community. why would creating more be a bad idea, and also now that I have think about it, it wouldn't make that much difference anyway. Ps: I'm sorry, my writing skills had quite a spectacular brain fart in my last comment
