With everything RobTop adds to 2.1 GD loses what makes it unique. I'm not a fan of this, or daily challenges, or for that matter anything that would inspire guilt for not doing it. It's these things that drive me away from games. When this update hits, consider me faded into the shadows. I mean, you don't HAVE to do challenge mode... But I'm assuming it's gonna be the only way to grind diamonds, also "global ladder", jesus robtop I'm a stat wh0re and an achievement wh0re. It's just what I gotta do  You should never have to feel bad for dying in GD. Simply not how it works |

sounds awesome, but I dont want geometry dash to become overcomplicated with too many currencies. we already have stars, coins, user coins, demons, and creator points, 2.1 will add diamonds, so what will this feature bring?

Very awesome idea, but some things need to happen first. I think RobTop should re-rate a bunch of levels(i.e. Hazy Blood, Switchblade, levels that are way harder than they are rated). He should do that, then implement the system in 2.11 or 2.12. Next, what happens if you get a level that you've already beaten? It wouldn't be good for the other person, or you if the challenger has beaten it. Finally, sometimes you just won't get a fair match-up, like players who had a bunch of stars and demons but then lose their stats, like ToshDeluxe. Or you might get matched up with someone who just doesn't have the stats, but are extremely skilled, such as Powerbomb, who verified The Hell Factory, but has only 1300 stars and 28 or 29 demons. It's probably going to be very bad in its early stages, but as more updates come into place challenge mode will more than likely straighten out.

Its a good idea, I mean, you can discover how good you actually are at the game, (well compared to others) I was told I was pretty good so know I could check if that is true.

It's not confirmed, unfortunately (for some) but RobTop said he was thinking about making it. Also I'm pretty sure it won't be coming to 2.1 but RobTop might suprise us (or maybe just me) and add it to his neverending list of things to add to 2.1.
