Something I've been thinking in the past few days was the weekly demons option that RobTop implemented in the game. It's something that allows people to play demon levels and it's a way to encourage them, however I see some flaws in it.
I've noticed that RobTop is very sensitive(?) to criticism, and if a level is quite hard, he replaces it with another one, which is usually a lot easier. This happened to Kitty and Interstellar, they both were "removed" the next day because they were quite a bit harder than most levels, and while I can understand this, I think it annoys the more skilled players a bit, as some of them would prefer challenges instead of easy demons, so I thought about something...
What if the weekly demon option had like a "normal" route and a special one? There would be two levels, while one of them will most likely be an easy or easy-medium one and the second one would be a solid medium or hard demon. Everyone would have a week for this, so if a skilled player beats the first one, they could try the second challenge which would give them an extra reward. You'd have a week for both levels.
I don't know if it solves the problem but it may solve the issue with backlash from less skilled players. I know they want to beat something but then the more skilled players would be annoyed because they won't have anything good for them to play, so if we had an optional "special demon" level for a current week, the player would be able to beat both of them. The only thing I'm not sure is that better players might farm demons pretty quickly that way and I'm not sure if it'd be fair. What do you think about this?

I would like this. However I would not like insane demons to be in the special mix. If it was for hard demons specifically I could see it working

I really like this idea. This could also be implemented for the Daily Levels.
I think RobTop needs to see this. It would finally be more fair for more skilled players.

I find it ironic how people want more options for the weekly level, yet last time I said that we should do that for the daily levels I was hit with hate. Seems like a bit of hypocrisy from the community, not that it matters just wanted to point that out. Anyways since there seems to be more of an appeal to this idea I’m gonna add it to my Big List of Ideas for GD feel free to check out my take on the idea and how I feel it should work for both daily and weekly levels. Hopefully with less backlash and more actual constructive criticism or improvements.

My memory is pretty bad so enlighten me. Anyway, I think the option is actually more useful for weekly demons as many skilled players don't bother about daily levels, as they're usually easy or boring for them. Sure, they could get an extra level for this but I think most of them will most likely be still easy for them. In case of demons it may be a different thing.

To Carrots91 Alright lets get this done with.
First off no that was not the reason I made that post, not at all. I made that post to acknowledge that in the past the community din't like an idea, and now they do. The community can change its mind. Look at moving objects and the random trigger, they both are stupid ideas on paper because they had the potential to ruin everything, but we didn't let that ruin its potential. The community hated it but now they don't. Pointing out something has changed is not lashing out. Now if I was making an entire rant about it then that could be considered lashing out. Sadly for your argument this time I didn't go on a rant and 'lash out'.
Secondly I never want sympathy. I have never and will never make a post to get sympathy from anybody. People who do that are extremely immature and shouldn't be allowed on the forums.
Thirdly yes that was a post trying to advertise my post on ideas in the community, that wasn't its only reason though. I genuinely have an idea related to this one and wanted people to check it out to create a discussion on my own thread about some necessary changed to GD. Sorry if your don't like ideas and updates but I do, and I feel its a very important thing to try and tell RobTop about. (I address this more below.)
Forth I wanna know how my post was rude? I can see how it may be annoying since to see my addition you have to view my thread, but I don't see how its rude. (I also acknowledge this is wrong and address that below.)
Anyways that was that! I'm sorry mods but when someone tries to slander me I don't take it very well. Anyways here is what I really wanna address! To everyone else! As an extension to my first post I feel it was wrong of me to not put my idea somewhere there, and force you to view my thread. I intended to put my idea in there but got sidetracked when making that post and forgot, basically creating an advertisement instead of actual feedback to this thread. So I will try and right my wrongs by explaining my idea here! Daily and weekly levels was a great idea to add to the game, it made GD far more refreshing, and for the most part I would say it has made the game feel more active. Yet it has a few problems. One is that it dosen't support people with different skill ranges and often marginalizes people who don't fit that specific levels skill requirements. There is an easy way to fix this that for the most part wouldn't be too much extra work, thats if RobTop keeps making a huge backlog of levels for daily/weekly like he already does. (Another possibility is for RobTop to allow elder mods to send levels that could be daily/weekly to him, that way make him not have to go hunting for them at all.)
So my idea is to simply have 3 different difficulty levels to choose from. Once you select one for that day/week thats the only one you can beat, the others are no longer available. That way you can't just get a bunch of free stars from beating them all. I feel the best difficulty ranges for this is as follows. This could obviously be changed to whatever RobTop thinks best. (Another crazy related idea is possibly making a weekly or monthly auto level. The reason why I think this should be done is because RobTop has killed the appeal of making auto levels in 2.0+ so giving people more motive to make them is something thats badly needed in GD.)
Daily: 2-4* / 5-7* / 8-9* Weekly: Easy Demon / Medium-Hard Demon / Insane-Extreme Demon
Sorry for all the confusion! If you have any feedback from my idea please do quote me here, or if your ok with visiting my thread that I spoke of in the original post, that would be greatly appreciated too. Again sorry for the mess up.

I think the idea is pretty good, however probably not as important as in case of weekly demons, as they're usually significally harder than most daily levels. Still I think that that option would be more unique if you'd be able to choose your level for a certain prize.
