What are stars and how do you get them? Stars are GD collectables that you obtain by beating levels. The harder the level, the more stars you gain for beating it (Auto=1☆, Easy=2☆, Normal=3☆, Hard=4-5☆, Harder=6-7☆, Insane=8-9☆ and Demons=10☆). What I always found a little nonsensical is the fact that both easy and extreme demons give you the same amount of stars, which is kinda ridiculous considering the huge difficulty spike between those types of demons, but that's beyond the point. Last but not least, GD gives you achievements for some star milestones (like getting to 1000 stars, or 2000, and so on), And such achievements can give you new colors, icons or even trails. I hope this helped

Members have 3 stars, staff have 5 stars, and owners have 6 stars. There used to be a 4 star role for the demon list editors but that role was removed when the demon list was moved off the forum.

There are a lot of demons in Geometry Dash which have been either overrated or underrated. Which demons represent the average demon difficulty for easy, medium and hard demons? In other words what is a demon which is actually rated to its difficulty correctly.

Does anyone know if the on death trigger can be used as a spawn trigger, because I tried and it didn't work.

It works like a toogle trigger so whatever works for toogle will work for on death. I think toogle trigger can act as spawn when the 'Activate Group' box is checked so you may want to check for that.

This thread is for people to ask simple questions that aren't really important enough to warrant their own thread. This should be helpful to members newer to the game/forum or people who are just confused about something. Information/Rules: –The question must be about Geometry Dash, the forum, Newgrounds music, or the community in some way. –Anyone, staff or just regular member, can answer somebody's question, but don't answer if you aren't sure. –NO joke questions or responses. These will clutter up the thread, this is meant to be useful. Ask away! How To You Change The Profile Picture And User Name?

For avatar: Profile -> Edit Profile -> Avatar -> Link whatever image (as long as it abides by the rules ofc) For display name: Profile -> Edit Profile -> Personal -> Display Name (type whatever you want your name to be seen as. This does NOT change your username or your tag.)

In other words what is a demon which is actually rated to its difficulty correctly. Easy demon: xStep V2 Medium demon: zStep Hard demon: Breakthrough Insane demon: 8o Extreme demon: Cataclysm These in my opinion are rated to their difficulty pretty accurately. By this I don't mean they're like mid-tier or average difficulty for each demon rating, more of a reference. Notice the jump from each difficulty increases exponentially. 8o to Cataclysm is a bigger jump than from Breakthrough to 8o and etc. It's supposed to be like that.

What do you think is more frustrating, dying at a high percentatge because of a bug or dying at an even higher percentatge (97-98) at a part where there were chances to beat?

Although this deserves a separate thread on Debate, I would say dying at a high percentage because of bug because it's wasn't your fault that you crash.
